French toast is a pretty basic breakfast for many people. So, I decided to give it a twist and make it a more fun dish all in all. This recipe is so simple to make and is yet so flavourful.

Ingredients
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar plus more to sift on top when cooked
1 slice of bread
about 50g of cornflakes
butter for cooking
brown sugar to sprinkle
Makes: 2 ( feel free to double or triple the recipe as per your needs)
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Procedure
The egg and add the vanilla essence, cinnamon, and sugar
Crush the cornflakes and spread them over a plate.
Cut the bread into halves and dip each one in the egg mixture before coating it with the cornflakes.
In a pan melt the butter on low heat, then put in the bread.
Sprinkle brown sugar on the surface of each toast then flip it and let it cook for 5-7 minutes.
Sprinkle brown sugar on the second side then flip again and continue cooking for another 3-5 minutes until brown.
Serve on a plate and sift some powdered sugar onto them.
